How to Feel Good & be More Organised
Where has time gone you guys? I’m sitting here thinking wow, we are in February already. Well i’m not complaining, January was busy but also a really good month for me and i’m super grateful.
How was your January, how is your 2018 going so far? If it’s not so great, that’s okay you still have 11 months to go. Take one day at a time and don’t overwhelm yourself. Check out my tips below on how you can be happier and more productive. Happy February!
Believe me when you plan well and your things are in ‘order’ life is so much easier and less stressful. Plan even the smallest things like what you will wear to work or class before going to bed so that the next morning is easier. Clean your room, your work space, just declutter your life. Imagine how much time you’ll save knowing what you are supposed to be doing at specific timings throughout your day, and never missing meetings or deadlines because you have planned in advance so you are organised.
Make yourself a priority. Take care of your health, drink your 2 liters of water a day. Learn to say no. I used to be the kind of person who couldn’t tell people no and accepted most things that came my way but the day i learnt to say no, as difficult as it was at first, my life turned around for the better. Don’t allow people to take advantage and ride over you, stand up for yourself. Know your worth.
Switch Up your Wardrobe
C’mon i cannot be the only one who gets really excited about new clothes. Hahah Ok! You don’t necessarily have to get new clothes all the time but switch up your look. Those jeans you’ve been wearing all the time, put them away for a while and try out the other pairs you always ignore. If you see a good staple, and its reasonably priced don’t be stingy, splurge a little, after all it is your wardrobe.
Remember that life is Happening NOW
I’m such a strong believer in creating moments and memories. Value peoples time, look and pay attention at your partner, friends, family or colleagues when you are in a conversation over lunch etc instead of getting carried away with your phone. Can you honestly remember the last time you had a fun night out without being on your phone 80% of the time. The best moments of our lives shouldn’t even have to make it to social media. Enjoy them with the people that matter.
